Generations of hammer and chisel
James Cyrus Art makes hand-carved copper and silver artefacts. Our mission is to connect the world through heart-built work that resembles peace, unity, elegance and glory, nothing cast, nothing rushed.
Our craft
Every artefact leaves our West London workshop on Eastman Road. Copper and silver sheet is drawn on, annealed, then raised by hand, chased with hammers and chisels our family has used for generations. The marks you see are the marks of a hand, not a machine.
We choose subjects that carry meaning across borders: cities, crowns, inscriptions, dancers. Metal holds them well, it darkens, brightens and ages with the room it lives in, and it outlasts all of us.

Visit the workshop
We welcome visitors during the week and by appointment at weekends. Please call ahead so a carver is free to talk you through the work at the bench.
